Make bracelet with link chain and silk ribbon
In this DIY tutorial we will show you how to make a braided silk bracelet with silk cord and a link chain very easily.
For a braided silk bracelet with link chain you need the following material: silk ribbon, link chain, threading needle, toggle clasp, binder rings, chain pin, polaris beads, Swarovski bicone and a bead cap.
Separate from the link chain a piece about 16 cm long. It should consist of 17 large round chain links.
Pull the silk ribbon through the outermost small chain link.
Knot the silk ribbon in the middle.
Thread the silk ribbon into a beading needle with a flexible threading hole.
Pull the ribbon through the first large chain link with the help of the threading needle.
Pull the ribbon all the way through the chain link.
Now start threading the ribbon back through the next chain link.
Pull the tape through completely here as well.
Repeat this for all 17 chain links.
Knot the ribbon once at the outermost small chain link.
Now thread the silk ribbon back through the chain links in the opposite direction.
Pull the ribbon all the way through each chain link.
Repeat this for all 17 chain links and knot the ribbon at the end.
Cut off the excess tape.
Let the accounts stand.
Using a binder ring, attach the first part of the toggle clasp to the link chain.
Repeat this on the other side.
Now begin to make the pendant by stringing the beads onto a chain pin.
Put the chain pin through one of the binding rings and bend the chain pin into an eyelet.
Cut off the excess part of the chain pin.
